Jason Jedlinski

Jason Jedlinski joined WQED Multimedia as its fifth President and CEO in July 2023. A veteran broadcasting and publishing executive, Jedlinski is an innovative leader with consensus-building skills and a commitment to broadening and strengthening WQED’s impact across all of the communities it serves.
Mr. Jedlinski comes to Pittsburgh from Washington D.C., where he recently served as General Manager of The Hill, launching a new streaming channel and setting audience records. He has spent nearly 25 years growing digital reach and engagement for major media brands, including The Wall Street Journal, USA TODAY, and WGN Television in Chicago. He is a past board member of the Local Media Association and past president of the largest chapter of the Society of Professional Journalists.
Among his career accomplishments, Mr. Jedlinski has designed and led groundbreaking digital transformation initiatives, secured multimillion-dollar sponsorships, and successfully launched new products that attracted several hundred thousand subscribers. He’s known as an architect and builder of teams: a leader passionate about employee engagement, retention, and talent development.

Jim Britt
Head of Partnership Solutions
Jim Britt is responsible for advancing WQED’s work building partnerships with local and national corporations, community arts & culture organizations, colleges & universities, nonprofits and other entities seeking to celebrate, champion and positively influence communities across southwestern Pennsylvania.
Britt is a former Executive Director of the Pittsburgh Penguins Foundation. With his leadership, the Penguins partnered with U.S. Steel to co-chair a $20 million capital campaign in support of the historic Braddock Carnegie Library and developed a Reading Champions pilot program in the West Mifflin School District. He and his team worked with Dick’s Sporting Goods to develop the Willie O’Ree Academy, providing unique opportunities for Black youth hockey players.
Despite growing up a Flyers fan, Britt says he’s “forever a Penguin,” having spent 20 years with the franchise, starting in its Wilkes-Barre/Scranton club. Britt and his wife Erin live in the South Hills of Pittsburgh with their children, Benjamin and Samantha.
